CPB Prism is seeking to hire a project manager with a passion for photography and art education. The project manager will lead the implementation of our work in schools and community initiatives. The candidate will also strengthen existing relationships with partners (Schools, NGOs, Community-led initiatives) and seek and build out new impactful partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Project design and management

Organizing, And Facilitating

  • Sessions for inhouse and external educators
  • Minute and share regular updates with the Director
  • Schedule meetings and site visits
  • Strengthen existing processes for a more effective and efficient program
  • Collect reports after vetting and communicate to the Director and external stakeholders.

Communications and relationship building

  • Identifying and contacting new schools and partner organizations
  • Organizing review meetings with educators, heads of schools and partner organisations that we are working with on a regular basis.
  • Engaging with media and social media to help CPB Prism share its work broadly

Administrative Responsibilities And Fundraising

  • Identifying grant opportunities and working with the directors to apply for grants
  • Overseeing other administrative responsibilities involved with the running of the program.
  • Training and mentoring new staff

Qualifications

  • Passion for working in education
  • Self-motivated with an orientation towards results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in Tamil, English is a must. Fluency in Hindi is a bonus
  • Proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office Suite and digital communication tools is mandatory
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to work with educational institutions and other organizations, develop trust with school administration, and build relationships among diverse groups of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
