Project Management Associate

Actively Reviewing

Contour Education

India Full-Time 1–2 yrs exp Posted 1 day ago  · Apply by Sep 14, 2026

This is a remote position.

Can you hold several live projects at once, keep every one on track, and build the workflows that run them yourself?

On a typical day you might update the launch tracker and follow up with two owners on their blockers in the morning, sit in a HubSpot migration working session after lunch, and turn a discovery call into an action log and status update for the CEO's office before the end of day.

About Contour

We started in 2020 with a handful of students and a belief that great education should not be out of reach. Today we operate across three brands with 8,000+ students and 425+ team members: roughly 100 in India and 325 onshore in Australia. The India team runs publishing, student experience, CRM and technology, operations, and people and culture.

Two of Contour's biggest bets are live at the same time: new campuses in 2027 and a full CRM move onto HubSpot. The people we hire now will shape how Contour grows, and this is one of those roles.

About This Role

You are the execution engine for Contour's most important projects. You keep them structured, tracked, and moving, and you work hands-on inside the tools that run them.

There is no PMO yet. You join the CEO's office, which sets strategy and decides which initiatives happen and in what order. You own day-to-day execution: documentation, tracking, follow-ups, and the hands-on technical work that gets projects delivered. Everything in between is yours to run.

The bar here is different in two specific ways. You close loops, you do not just log them: you manage the stakeholders actively rather than posting a status and waiting. And you build, you do not just coordinate: when a workflow needs an automation, you go into HubSpot or Make and configure it yourself rather than handing the technical setup to someone else.

You start as the only execution seat. A dedicated PMO Lead will come in as the function grows, and by then you will know the projects better than anyone, which is the strongest position to grow from.

Contour is scaling on several fronts at once, and this is the seat that keeps those projects on track. By the end of month three, you will be coordinating live initiatives, potentially several at the same time: the 2027 campus launches across Victoria, Queensland, and New South Wales, the CRM migration onto HubSpot, and whatever strategic work lands next. The trackers, dashboards, and workflows you build in those first months will still be running long after.

Where the Work Lives

This role runs inside a specific toolchain, and each tool carries an expectation:

  • HubSpot: the CRM migration lives here, so clean data and disciplined workflow hygiene are the job. A workflow that ships broken is one that reached real people, so you test first.

  • Jira, Asana, ClickUp, or Monday.com: status is only worth something if it is current. Keeping boards live is how the CEO's office sees progress without having to ask.

  • Spreadsheets: the tracker of record for launches, dependencies, and timelines. Structure and accuracy here are what stop things slipping.

  • Make or Zapier: where repeated manual steps become automations. If you are doing something by hand every week, wire it up.

What You Will Do

  • Keep every project structured and visible. Own charters, scoping documents, risk registers, and project roadmaps. Turn meetings and discovery sessions into action logs, requirement summaries, and status reports, so no board goes stale.

  • Drive execution and accountability. Own the action item tracker and chase it to done. Follow up with project owners, escalate risks early, and keep milestones, KPIs, and budgets on track.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams. Schedule reviews and retrospectives, prepare agendas, and make sure decisions and dependencies are documented and resolved. Be the primary connection point for handoffs.

  • Do the hands-on technical implementation. Configure project tools, build automations in Make or Zapier, and set up HubSpot workflows yourself. This is a hands-on implementation role.

  • Manage the CRM migration and campus expansion. Coordinate the HubSpot migration and the 2027 campus launches across Victoria, Queensland, and New South Wales, keeping every team aligned to the date.

  • Build the reporting and enablement layer. Dashboards and leadership updates that make project health readable at a glance, plus the user guides, walkthroughs, and FAQs that drive tool adoption.

If a better tool exists for something we are doing manually, make the case and we will back it.

Requirements

What You Need

  • 1 to 3 years coordinating projects or supporting a PMO, keeping several concurrent initiatives on track at once.

  • Hands-on HubSpot experience you can configure, not just describe. This one is required.

  • Fluency in at least one project management tool (Jira, Asana, ClickUp, or Monday.com) and strong, structured spreadsheet work for tracking, reporting, and visibility.

  • Practical knowledge of delivery frameworks like Agile, Scrum, or RACI, with the judgment to apply them rather than recite them.

  • Clear written documentation: action logs, status updates, and user-facing material.

  • The instinct to close loops: follow up, escalate blockers early, manage stakeholders proactively.

  • Comfort working across Indian and Australian business hours.

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting a CRM migration or a system implementation end to end.

  • Hands-on with Make or Zapier.

  • Exposure to prioritisation frameworks like OKRs or ICE.

  • Background in edtech, startups, or a fast-scaling team.

  • Comfort building dashboards or working in advanced spreadsheets.

The Kind of People Who Thrive Here

The people who do well here bring order to complexity because they cannot help it. They are comfortable when the shape of the work is not handed to them, and they define it themselves. They give direct updates and expect the same back. They take ownership of outcomes, not just the tasks in front of them, and when they see a gap they close it rather than point at it.

This seat sits close to the top of the company from day one. Contour's operators have grown into the leaders who now run its clusters, and the path from coordinator to project manager, PMO analyst, or senior coordinator is real. Being here before the PMO exists means you help shape what it becomes.

What Good Looks Like

  • Nothing falls through: every action has an owner and a date, and the status is knowable without having to dig.

  • Boards are always current: anyone can open a tracker and trust what it says.

  • Risk shows up while it is cheap: blockers are on the table with time to act, not after the date has already moved.

  • Leadership sees the whole picture: a glance at your reporting tells the CEO's office exactly where every project stands.

Benefits

Fully remote, anywhere in India. Most of your day runs on Indian hours with overlap into Australian business time. Compensation is competitive and benchmarked to the role and your experience, and we discuss it openly early in the process.

Apply with your CV and a few lines on a tracker, board, or automation you built and actually ran: what it was, and how you kept it current.
