This is a hands-on technical role within a cross-functional team responsible for contributing to infrastructure engineering projects and maintaining and improving the firm's technology platforms. This role offers the opportunity to be part of an inclusive, collaborative, and engaging team and organization. WHAT YOU'LL DO DAY-TO-DAY: In this role, you?ll work on designing, implementing, and managing the firm?s Windows Infrastructure in collaboration with other IT Infrastructure teams. You?ll be involved in engineering project work and tier 2/3 operational support to increase the overall supportability and reliability of the firm?s enterprise technology environment. Additional responsibilities will include upgrading and/or re-designing existing infrastructure for improved performance and stability. WHO WE?RE LOOKING FOR: The candidate should have a Bachelor?s/Master?s degree in Computer Science and Engineering or other technical disciplines, and more than five years of work experience in the Windows domain is required. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of Windows fundamentals and extensive experience with one or more of the following technologies ? Active Directory, SCCM, SCOM, Hyper-V, VMware, Failover Clustering, Exchange, SQL Server, etc. Candidate should have good proficiency in PowerShell and experience with modern configuration management and development tools (e.g. git, continuous integration systems) is required. Experience with .NET development and/or Python would be an added advantage. The candidate should have experience in Handling L2/L3 escalations from Helpdesk/NOC and proactively identifying and fixing issues in production environment. Candidate should have previous experience with the design and end-to-end implementation of performant, reliable and secure systems, and troubleshooting capabilities and experience with diagnostic/tracing tools. We work in a highly collaborative environment and experience on Linux or Storage systems would be desirable. The ideal candidate should also have willingness to learn and be a self-starter. Prior experience of technical leadership or managing small teams would be added advantage.
