We are seeking a qualified and experienced Project Engineer (Civil) to manage day-to-day construction activities at project sites. The candidate will be responsible for supervising site operations, ensuring quality control, managing manpower, and coordinating with contractors and consultants to ensure timely project completion.

Job Summary:

1. Project Planning & Management

• Plan, organize, and manage construction projects from start to completion.
• Prepare project schedules, work programs, and resource plans.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and site teams.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

2. Site Supervision

• Supervise day-to-day construction activities at the site.
• Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor progress and resolve technical issues at the site.
• Manage subcontractors and labor teams.

3. Quality Control

• Ensure all construction work meets required quality standards.
• Implement QA/QC procedures and conduct inspections.
• Coordinate material testing and approvals.

4. Cost Control & Budget Monitoring

• Track project costs and control expenses.
• Verify contractor bills and subcontractor payments.
• Assist in preparing project budgets and cost reports.

5. Technical Coordination

• Review structural, architectural, and MEP drawings.
• Coordinate with design consultants for technical clarifications.
• Manage design changes and site modifications.

6. Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project reports.
• Maintain records of site activities, materials, and approvals.
• Handle RFI, technical submittals, and method statements.

7. Safety Management

• Ensure compliance with site safety standards and regulations.
• Conduct safety meetings and inspections.
• Implement safety procedures for workers and equipment.

8. Client & Stakeholder Coordination

• Attend project meetings with clients and consultants.
• Provide progress updates and resolve project issues.
• Ensure client requirements and specifications are met.

9. Procurement Support

• Assist in material planning and procurement.
• Review vendor quotations and technical specifications.
• Ensure timely availability of construction materials.

10. Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor junior engineers and site staff.
• Allocate tasks and monitor team performance.
• Support training and development of team members.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering
• Proven experience in residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Site Engineer in civil construction

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
