About the Role:

One of our clients is hiring for Project Engineers to support the delivery of engineering projects at their Skelmersdale site. This role focuses on managing projects end-to-end, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards while supporting business objectives. The position involves collaboration across teams and occasional travel between sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engineering projects from concept through to completion
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and overall project costs
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across operations
• Ensure adherence to project management and investment processes
• Coach and support site leadership teams on project delivery
• Oversee project documentation, handovers, and compliance standards
• Contribute to strategic goals and operational excellence initiatives

Ideal Qualifications:

• Experience in project engineering, ideally within FMCG or manufacturing
• HNC/HND in Engineering or a related field (essential)
• Project management experience or certification
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project and AutoCAD
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work across multiple levels within the organization
• Full UK driving licence
