About The Role

You will be responsible for the monthly controlling of several of our international projects of various size. Your key objective is to ensure the validity of budgets and forecasts, and you will be an important sparring partner for the Project Managers and support Head of project Controlling . You are expected to explain the details of any budget deviations in revenue and contribution margin as well as net working capital and audit support. You will also provide financial details in order to follow up and drive business process optimization initiatives in close cooperation with the Head of Project Controlling in your area.

About The Department

The Project Controlling Department works closely with Project Managers, Sales Team, SCM team & Accounting team to drive financial discipline across the project lifecycle. The team is focused on delivering accurate forecasting, cost control, margin optimization,NWC optimization, Collection projection & Variance analysis and timely reporting in a dynamic, global project environment.

Your Responsibilities :

• Create orders: Make sure all requirements are fulfilled for order initiation.
• Ensure that all projects are financially controlled before month end close. No booking mistakes
• Backlog reporting: Ensure that all projects are updated with latest delivery forecast agreed supply chain.
• Complete ”OrderFlow” file for each entity reconciled with OneStream (same format for all)
• Close of projects: Make sure all requirement are met and manage provisions
• Rolling Forecast: Detailed project review including estimation backlog conversion monthly next 24 months.
• Verification of Revenue recognition, WIP, Project Cost analysis , Unbilled revenue, unearned revenue, loss making provisions , warranty provisions and ensure all the figures are correct before month end close.
• Support Cashflow improvements by AR review & collection projection.
• Mont Project Inventory analysis & ensure project inventory properly acounted for to the project and ensure left over project Inventory transferred back to stock before project closure.
• Exceptional analysis & reporting- Delayed Analysis , Risk analysis & Warranty Assessment etc.
• Support RCX audit & year end audit and co-ordinate with all the stakeholders.
  
  

You bring

• You hold a master’s degree in Accounting & finance, CA / CMA Inter, MBA(Finance) or equivalent.
• You have min. 5+ years of proven experience in Project financial controlling.
• You are characterized as a strong analytical hands-on-person and thrive with multiple tasks and challenges at hand. You should be a good team player.
• Excellent skills in advance Excel. Experience from working with business intelligence systems is an advantage.
• Technical skills – Oracle, Power BI & One stream.
