Role Description
Assistant will provide crucial support for smooth operations, handling administrative tasks like scheduling, filing, and communication, while also assisting with project-specific duties such as tracking progress, organizing documents, coordinating team efforts, managing timelines, monitoring budgets, and preparing reports to ensure projects meet deadlines and objectives efficiently. Must have the skill to draw in AutoCAD for support on drawings.
Project Support:
· Assist Project Executive/Sr. Designer with planning, scheduling, and coordinating project activities and meetings.
· Track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring deadlines are met.
· Maintain and update project documentation, files, and progress reports.
· Facilitate communication between team members, vendors, and End Users.
· Help with budget tracking, expense logging, and invoice processing (As necessary).
· Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and presentations.
· Manage daily office tasks: answering calls, managing emails, copying, filing, and mail.
· Provide support in providing drawings for client spaces and projects using AutoCAD
· Greet visitors, coordinate internal design meetings and Product/Library update meetings.
· Perform data entry and generate basic reports.
Qualifications
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Excellent communication (written and verbal) and people skills.
· Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher), Sketch Up, and AutoCAD
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Currently attending College with a Degree plan within the Design Field or College Graduate with an Associates or Bachelors in Design.
