At Oldham College, we are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Programme Tutor in English to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and support learners aged 16-18 and adults in achieving their GCSE English qualifications.

  • Salary: £35,242-£43,513 per annum - Potential for up to £45,633 for highly experienced candidates

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver high-quality teaching that engages and motivates learners.
  • Track and monitor student progress, ensuring they stay on track to achieve their potential.
  • Encourage learners to develop independence and apply their English skills in real-world settings.

What We’re Looking For

  • A passion for teaching and supporting students of all abilities.
  • Experience (or strong potential) in delivering Functional Skills and GCSE English.
  • A commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements

  • You must have a degree and a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience of working in the FE sector is desirable.
