Program Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing layout plans for physical labs, workshops, and computer labs, including equipment

placement, workstation arrangement, and workspace zoning as directed by the Deputy Dean, School of

Advanced Manufacturing.

• Prepare draft electrical load, utility, and hardware/networking requirement documents as technical inputs for the

respective university teams, subject to review and approval.

• Assist in preparing safety and compliance documentation covering fire safety, ventilation, emergency egress, and

EHS requirements.

• Serve as SAM's technical liaison with the university facility management team (physical infrastructure) and

university IT team (computing infrastructure), preparing requirement briefs and following up on execution.

• Conduct site inspections as assigned to evaluate space suitability and verify that completed work by university

teams meets SAM's technical requirements. Prepare inspection reports for review by the Deputy Dean, School of

Advanced Manufacturing.

• Prepare draft technical specifications for equipment and hardware procurement as directed; procurement

processing and vendor negotiations are handled by administrative and finance teams.

• Support vendor technical evaluations and oversee delivery, installation, testing, and commissioning under the

supervision of the Deputy Dean, School of Advanced Manufacturing.

• Maintain calibration schedules, preventive maintenance logs, AMC records, equipment manuals, warranty

documents, and a digital asset register covering both physical and computing assets, kept audit-ready.

• Manage SAM's software licences, installations, and updates, ensuring all workstations are identically configured

and functional.

• Ensure all labs, workshops, and computer labs are session-ready and provide hands-on technical support to

faculty during practicals. The Technical Coordinator does not conduct lab sessions independently.

• Accompany and support the Deputy Dean, School of Advanced Manufacturing in industry co-design sessions,

providing technical inputs as called upon.

• Provide technical facilitation for student projects and capstone work as directed. Monitor lab utilization and flag

• gaps or recommend upgrades to the Deputy Dean, School of Advanced Manufacturing.
