Key Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate engineering students as per VTU/AICTE norms.
• Handle theory and laboratory sessions in the relevant specialization.
• Prepare lesson plans, course files, teaching materials, and question papers.
• Conduct internal assessments, assignments, seminars, and evaluations.
• Mentor and guide students in academic and project activities.
• Guide mini-projects, major projects, internships, and technical activities.
• Participate in department academic activities such as timetable planning, NAAC/NBA documentation, and accreditation work.
• Undertake research, publish papers in reputed journals, and apply for funded projects.
• Organize workshops, FDPs, seminars, hackathons, and technical events.
• Support placement training, industry interaction, and student development programs.
• Maintain attendance, records, and university documentation.

Qualification (As per AICTE/VTU Norms)

Assistant Professor:

• B.E./B.Tech in relevant branch AND M.E./M.Tech in relevant specialization
• First Class in either Bachelors or Masters Degree

Associate Professor:

• Ph.D. in relevant discipline
• Minimum 8 years teaching/research experience (post PG), as per AICTE norms
• Research publications preferred

Professor:

• Ph.D. in relevant discipline
• Minimum 10–15 years teaching/research experience
• Publications in Scopus/SCI journals and academic leadership experience preferred

Required Skills

• Good communication and presentation skills
• Strong subject knowledge
• Ability to handle labs and practical sessions
• Knowledge of programming languages (C, C++, Java, Python)
• Familiarity with LMS, online teaching tools, and digital content creation
• Student mentoring and classroom management skills

Additional Preference

• Candidates with NBA/NAAC documentation experience
• Research publications / patents
• Industry experience
• Experience in handling accreditation and university work

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
