Job Description

Your Tasks

Perform quality inspections of incoming and coated cutting tools under a microscope to identify defects and ensure compliance with quality standards
Document and report inspection results accurately
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and improve processes
Operate ancillary equipment to post process the diamond coated product for improved function and appearance
Maintain the work area in accordance with lab cleanliness and safety standards
Assist with logistics, including inventory tracking, shipment preparation, and receiving goods
Maintain detailed records of quality checks, tool status, and shipping/receiving activities
Operate and maintain quality inspection tools and microscopes
Utilize basic Microsoft Office Suite software (Excel, Word, Outlook) for documentation and communication
Follow established procedures for quality assurance and safety standards
Assist with other duties as assigned to support overall production and logistics

Your Profile

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus
Previous experience in quality assurance, tool inspection, or a similar role preferred, 3+ years
Ability to work under a microscope for extended periods with a high degree of precision
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to perform basic logistics tasks, such as inventory management and shipping preparation
Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and tools is a plus
