ob Title: Production Support Engineer ? SSIS ,SQL, Python, Automation & Scripting Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Production Support Engineer to ensure the stability, availability, and performance of business-critical applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL , Python , and automation/scripting to troubleshoot issues, optimize processes, and enhance operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Monitor, maintain, and support production systems to ensure high availability and performance. Perform root cause analysis and resolve application, database, and infrastructure issues. Write and optimize SQL queries , stored procedures, and scripts for data analysis and troubleshooting. Develop Python scripts and automation tools to streamline repetitive operational tasks. Create and maintain shell/PowerShell scripts for deployment, monitoring, and log analysis. Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to resolve incidents and implement fixes. Participate in incident management , problem management , and change management processes. Maintain detailed documentation of issues, resolutions, and standard operating procedures. Implement proactive monitoring and alerting solutions to prevent downtime. Support release management and deployment activities in production environments. Required Skills & Qualifications: Education: Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL (query optimization, joins, indexing, stored procedures). Hands-on experience with Python for automation, data processing, and API integration. Proficiency in shell scripting (Bash, PowerShell, or similar). Familiarity with job scheduling tools (e.g., Cron, Control-M, Autosys). Experience with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket). Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.). Understanding of Linux/Unix and Windows environments. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work under pressure in a 24x7 production environment. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
