Production Support Engineer

Key responsibilities:

• Key application support & maintenance for runtime issues
• Application support and provide the assistance on tech side issue to banks
• Manage the team to maintain the application support 24/7*365 days
• Understands different programming languages and ability to solve problems in Production
• Possesses good knowledge of different software systems, client/server architectures and various compatibility requirements.
• Identifying tech stack, DB designing as part of requirements  Server configuration for application/DB servers
• Experience in troubleshooting, software development processes and ability to understand the requirements
• Co-ordination with internal departments for ensuring smooth business operations
• Product handling and clarification of technical issue with banks.
• Good working knowledge on open data base, Windows and Linux systems.
• Proactive service improvement initiatives including trending of incidents, root cause of technical issues
• Identify resource and equipment requirements, efficient capacity planning and manage software and hardware availability
• Must ensure to follow the correct procedures, policies and documentation requirements to meet the audit/compliances
• Application Support & Maintenance Activities
• Maintain the application uptime with zero delays, downtimes
• Coordinating and communication with stakeholders on tech related issues, technical standards deviation & solution implementation
• Provide the outstanding support to banks and address the technical issues

Key skills and experience required:

• A desire to remain technically capable and an expert in current latest industry technologies
• Languages: Java, Python , scripting
• Devops : Jenkins, Linux, dockers, Kubernetes , microservices
• Database :- Cassandra, maria DB,
• Cache :- key DB, Redis,
• Message streams – Kafka, KRaft
