Job Description

Job Description We are looking for Cloud Operation Engineers to manage and support cloud-based applications and customer environments. The role includes deploying applications, monitoring systems, resolving incidents, and ensuring high availability of services. You will work with DevOps practices, automation tools, and cloud technologies to improve performance, stability, and security of production systems. This position requires flexibility to work in 24?7 rotational shifts, including night shifts. Responsibilities RESPONSIBILITIES Set up, deploy, configure, and upgrade applications on cloud environments. Continuously monitor production systems and respond to alerts to ensure uptime. Troubleshoot and resolve application and infrastructure issues quickly. Perform incident management and provide detailed root cause analysis reports. Manage backups, data recovery, and participate in disaster recovery planning and testing. Automate repeated operational tasks using CI/CD and infrastructure automation tools. Build and manage new cloud environments, servers, and application stacks as needed. Apply security best practices to safeguard applications and data. Work closely with engineering, support, and QA teams for smooth release cycles Maintain system documentation, configurations, and operational runbooks. Participate in performance tuning and capacity planning activities. Support network configuration, firewall rules, and load balancing setups Follow ITIL processes for change management and service delivery improvements. Skills & Qualifications Bachelor?s or master?s degree in computer science or related field 6+ years of IT operations and application support experience Experience working with major cloud providers (OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP) Experience with Windows/Linux servers and troubleshooting Working knowledge of DevOps concepts and CI/CD pipelines Hands-on experience with automation and configuration tools (Git, Jenkins, Terraform, Chef, etc.) Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes Strong understanding of networking basics (DNS, routing, load balancing, IP tables, firewalls) Strong communication skills and willingness to work in 24?7 rotational shifts Familiarity with big data applications (Hadoop, Kafka) is an added advantage Qualifications Career Level - IC3 About Us As a world leader in cloud solutions, Oracle uses tomorrow?s technology to tackle today?s challenges.
