" This role is for our subsidiary company Pacque" Job Purpose The Production Manager ? Napkin Printing & Converting will oversee all aspects of napkin production, including printing, embossing, folding and packaging operations. The role ensures efficient production processes, quality output, cost control and adherence to safety and environmental standards. The manager will lead a team of machine operators, technicians and supervisors to achieve daily production targets while maintaining high quality and productivity standards. Key Responsibilities 1. Production Management Plan, schedule and manage napkin printing and converting operations to meet production targets. Oversee flexographic 4-8 color printing?and converting machines (folding, embossing, cutting, packaging). Optimize machine utilization and minimize downtime. Coordinate with planning, maintenance and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations. 2. Quality Control Ensure all products meet quality specifications and customer standards. Implement and monitor in-process checks and final inspections. Work closely with QA to reduce waste and defect rates. 3. Team Leadership Supervise and develop machine operators, line leaders and production staff. Conduct regular training on equipment operation, safety and best practices. Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. 4. Maintenance & Technical Support Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure timely preventive maintenance and quick breakdown response. Participate in equipment troubleshooting and root cause analysis. Recommend process improvements or machinery upgrades. 5. Safety & Compliance Enforce plant safety rules and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. Maintain clean and organized production areas. 6. Reporting & Analysis Monitor and report key production metrics (OEE, waste %, downtime, efficiency, etc.). Prepare daily, weekly and monthly performance reports. Implement corrective actions for deviations. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor?s degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering (preferred). 10-15 years of experience in napkin/tissue converting or flexible packaging production. Experience in in flexo printing is must. Experience in tissue napkin converting would be preferred. Strong understanding of production planning, quality systems and maintenance coordination. Proven leadership and team management skills. Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems. Key Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
