OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced Plant / Production Manager to oversee stamping and fabrication operations in a high-volume automobile manufacturing environment. The role requires strong operational leadership to manage production processes, workforce efficiency, quality compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring delivery targets and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee complete operations in stamping and fabrication, ensuring smooth production flow and target achievement.
• Lead operations in high-volume automobile manufacturing units, maintaining efficiency and output standards.
• Handle and supervise a large workforce of 60–70+ employees, ensuring effective manpower utilization and discipline.
• Plan, organize, and execute daily and monthly production schedules to meet delivery commitments in a high-volume setup.
• Ensure strict adherence to automotive quality standards, safety regulations, and process discipline.
• Monitor productivity, control downtime, and drive cost-reduction and waste elimination initiatives.
• Coordinate with materials, maintenance, quality, and logistics teams for seamless production operations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce rejection rates, and improve overall departmental performance.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant manufacturing environment as per company and statutory norms.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
• 10–15 years total experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership or plant-in-charge role.
• Hands-on knowledge of press machines, stamping tools, fabrication, and assembly line operations.
• Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, 5S, TPM, and Kaizen practices.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Must be capable of managing plant operations independently.
