Production Department Specialist

Role Description The Production Department Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Vadodara. The specialist will support day-to-day production activities, including planning production schedules, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and monitoring workflow to meet output targets. Responsibilities include assisting in optimizing production processes, tracking material utilization, and maintaining accurate production records. The role involves supporting quality control checks on stainless steel pipes and tubes, reporting deviations, and helping implement corrective actions. The specialist will also assist in training production staff on standard operating procedures, safety practices, and process improvements, while maintaining clear communication with supervisors and team members.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Production Planning and Production Management to support scheduling, resource allocation, and throughput optimization.
• Experience or familiarity with Quality Control practices, including inspections, documentation, and adherence to standards.
• Effective Communication skills for coordinating with production teams, maintenance, quality, and management.
• Ability to support and deliver Training on standard operating procedures, safety guidelines, and process updates.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Experience in steel, metal, or manufacturing environments is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of lean manufacturing, 5S, or other continuous improvement methodologies is beneficial.
• Ability to work in shifts, follow safety protocols, and handle a fast-paced shop-floor environment.
