IMAS Business School is looking for a talented and innovative Product & Technology Developer to lead the development and continuous enhancement of our digital platforms, including an exciting new education technology venture.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technology professional who wants to build products from the ground up and contribute to transforming higher education through technology.

Key Responsibilities

Product Development

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain modern web applications and digital platforms.
• Translate business requirements into scalable and user-friendly technology solutions.
• Continuously enhance product functionality, usability, and overall user experience.
• Participate in product planning, feature development, and technology roadmap discussions.

Website & Application Development

• Develop and maintain responsive, high-performance websites and web applications.
• Build intuitive user interfaces using modern frontend technologies.
• Integrate APIs, payment gateways, CRM systems, and third-party applications.
• Ensure applications are secure, scalable, mobile-friendly, and optimized for performance.

Technology & Innovation

• Research and implement emerging technologies, AI tools, and automation solutions.
• Evaluate new frameworks and development practices to improve product performance.
• Support AI-powered features, chatbots, workflow automation, and analytics integrations.

Testing & Deployment

• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and application optimization.
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and quality assurance before production releases.
• Monitor application performance and ensure system reliability.

Collaboration

• Work closely with the Digital Marketing, Admissions, School Outreach, and Management teams to deliver technology solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Coordinate with external technology partners whenever required.

Desired Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, MCA, B.Tech, or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in website development, web application development, or software development.

Mandatory Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with React.js
• JavaScript (ES6+)
• HTML5 & CSS3
• Responsive Web Design
• REST API integration
• Git/GitHub version control
• Understanding of databases and SQL
• Experience with modern UI frameworks such as Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS
• Knowledge of application deployment and hosting environments

Preferred Skills

• Node.js, Express.js, PHP, Python, or similar backend technologies
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Experience with CRM integrations and payment gateway integration
• Familiarity with AI tools, AI APIs, workflow automation, and no-code/low-code platforms
• Understanding of SEO best practices from a technical perspective
• Basic knowledge of UI/UX principles
