Company Description Almuqeet Systems is a telecom technology provider delivering carrier-grade messaging infrastructure, including SMSC platforms, for telecom operators, SMS aggregators, and CPaaS providers worldwide. Its scalable solutions support global communication networks through SMSC systems, SMS and USSD gateways, messaging firewalls, and number intelligence APIs.


JOB TITLE: Product Support Engineer

DEPARTMENT: Product and DevOps Support

SHIFT: 9 hours. Candidates should be comfortable with a rotational shift and working from the office.

EXPERIENCE: 2-4 Years in Product or Server support

OPEN POSITIONS: 5

Job Location: Mohali (BestTech Towers)


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Monitor the product server and performance in real time.

Handle incidents and perform first-level troubleshooting.

Analyze logs and assist in root cause identification.

Ensure SLA compliance and proper escalation management.

Coordinate with internal teams and client technical stakeholders.


TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

  1. Solid working knowledge of web applications, RESTful APIs, request–response flow, and client–server
  2. architecture
  3. Hands-on exposure to Linux and Windows Server environments, especially Linux Servers (Ubuntu /
  4. Rocky / RedHat)
  5. Basic knowledge of Databases (PostgreSQL or MS SQL), including query execution, troubleshooting,
  6. and database connectivity validation.
  7. Familiarity with DNS/NS, IIS, Apache, and NGINX for basic configuration on checks and service
  8. monitoring.
  9. Strong understanding of TCP/IP fundamentals, ports, firewall basics, and connectivity testing using
  10. tools like Telnet and Netstat.
  11. Experience with monitoring systems, ticketing platforms, and SSH tools for remote server access and
  12. incident handling.
  13. Good to have experience with Wireshark, Postman, Zabbix, and Grafana.
  14. Exposure to telecom messaging concepts (SMSC, SMPP) is an added advantage.
