Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Product Owner with a strong background in the Travel/Airline domain and SAFe Agile delivery. The candidate will be responsible for defining product vision, managing product backlogs, and ensuring delivery of business value through effective stakeholder engagement and agile execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the product roadmap and product backlog.
• Prioritize features, enhancements, defects, and technical debt based on business value.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and Scrum Masters to define product objectives.
• Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, and PI planning activities.
• Write and manage epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria in JIRA.
• Ensure clear communication of business requirements to development teams.
• Participate in sprint reviews and provide business sign-off for delivered functionalities.
• Drive product decisions using customer feedback, business priorities, and market trends.
• Act as the primary liaison between business and technology teams.

Mandatory Skills

• Travel/Airline domain experience (Mandatory).
• Product Backlog Management and Prioritization.
• SAFe Agile experience with PI Planning.
• User Story Creation and Acceptance Criteria definition.
• Sprint Planning and Backlog Refinement.
• Stakeholder and Vendor Management.
• Expertise in JIRA and Confluence.
• Requirements gathering and business process analysis.

• Passenger Service Systems (PSS)
• GDS (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo)
• Loyalty Programs
• Flight Operations

• Digital Booking Platforms

Nice to Have

• SAFe POPM Certification.
• Experience with APIs and Digital Transformation initiatives.
• Exposure to Airline NDC and Travel Technology platforms.
