Product Manager

Actively Reviewing

Geektrust

Bengaluru Full-Time 1–2 yrs exp Posted 2 hours ago  · Apply by Sep 14, 2026
  • Role: Product Manager
  • Location: Bengaluru (HSR Layout)
  • Type: Full-time
  • Experience: 2–4 years

About the role

We're building an AI interviewer that runs real candidate interviews on behalf of hiring teams —

combining natural conversation, structured evaluation, and evidence-based judgment. It serves three

demanding audiences at once: candidates, who need it to feel fair and human; customers —

recruiters, hiring managers, internal TA teams — who need it to be reliable and defensible; and

internal teams, who need to ship fast without dropping quality.

We're looking for a PM to own parts of this product end-to-end — from shaping what we build next, to working directly with customers and candidates, to partnering with engineering, design, and product operations to ship it.

We're a small, early-stage team, so this comes with a lot of ownership and almost no pre-existing

process — you'll be building the playbook as much as running one.

What you'll do

Product ownership

  • Own product areas end-to-end — define problems, write specs, prioritise the roadmap, and ship

features for the AI interviewer experience.

Customer & candidate discovery

  • Talk to customers regularly — recruiters, hiring managers, TA leaders — to learn how their first

interview round runs and where their bar is, then turn that into product requirements.

  • Understand the candidate side of the table — experience, fairness, clear expectations, and how

people behave differently talking to an AI than to a human.

AI & quality

  • Lead AI features — scope what's feasible, design prompts, review model behaviour and outputs,

and iterate on interview quality: question design, follow-up logic, scoring, edge cases.

  • Define and track quality metrics for a product where "quality" is inherently fuzzy.
  • Run structured experiments — A/B tests, design-partner pilots, phased rollouts — to validate

changes before they go broad.

Cross-functional execution

  • Work across the org — founders, sales, customer success, engineering, L2 support, recruitment

services, and product operations — to get things shipped.

What we're looking for

We're looking for a PM with 2–4 years of experience who has owned real product outcomes — not just

written tickets. Ideally you've taken at least one feature or product area from problem definition

through launch and iteration.

  • Hands-on with GenAI/LLMs — you've written and iterated on prompts, and you judge output quality

beyond "does it work": is it good, is it consistent, where does it break? You reach for eval

frameworks and rubrics rather than judging by feel.

  • Strong data analysis — you pull and slice data yourself (SQL and/or spreadsheets), define metrics

for a fuzzy quality space, and use data, not just intuition, to make and defend calls.

  • A "whatever it takes to ship" mentality — you're not precious about "my job." If shipping means

writing test cases, doing hands-on QA on interview transcripts, building a stopgap tool, or getting

into product operations, you do it rather than wait.

  • Strong customer-facing instincts — you're comfortable running discovery calls, sitting in on pilots,

and turning fuzzy feedback into concrete product decisions.

  • Comfort with ambiguity — there's no established process to lean on, priorities shift as you learn,

and you'll often define your own scope rather than have it handed to you.

Nice to have

  • A technical background — you've written code before (even if you're not an engineer today), or

you're happy getting into engineering concepts to understand technical interviews deeply.

  • Shipped AI/LLM products — experience building AI/LLM-powered products in a previous PM role.
  • Prototyping with AI tools — experience using AI tools to build quick prototypes.

About Geektrust

Geektrust started in 2015 on a simple conviction: developers should be hired on real skill, not a resume or a pedigree. That belief became a skill-first hiring platform trusted by 750+ companies — from high-growth startups like Zomato to global enterprises like Tesco. Founded by alumni of ThoughtWorks and ESPN, we've spent a decade at the intersection of human judgment and AI, and we're growing 50–75% this year across an 85-member team.

Our business runs on two lines: Geektrust Recruit — contract-to-hire and placement — and Assemble,

our AI-driven technical interview product. The AI interviewer this role helps build sits right at the centre of a problem we've spent a decade obsessing over.
