About the company:
Ventura is an omnichannel trading and investment platform with a nationwide network of branches, sub-brokers, and digital channels. Founded in 1994, the company is now in its next phase of growth, driven by a digital-first, direct-to-consumer strategy.
The organisation is seeking a team of Product Managers to help lead a flagship project through
innovative digital products across the investment spectrum.

- Drive product strategies and long-term vision to build best-in-class trading and investment products
- Conduct user research and usability studies, collaborating with designers and developers from end to end of the process.
- Ability to craft a product vision (short to long term) and convert that into a concrete strategy and documentation
- Participate in market research, validation, and whitespace analysis to identify new opportunities for new and existing features and functionalities
- Partner with business owners and agile product teams to build product roadmaps that will be incorporated into the broader company product portfolio plan
- Evaluate, analyse, and understand the voice of the customer through a variety of data sources
- Manage the product roadmap and backlog for assigned digital products
- Oversee and manage lead requirements discovery, solution design, user story writing, feature development, and user acceptance testing
- Partner with the executive teams to identify key capabilities needed, as well as identify potential issues
- Partner with cross-functional teams regularly to ensure alignment on feature development and prioritisation
- Partner with IT to manage the roadmap and backlog to ensure that IT delivers all capabilities on time and as per expectations
- Work with product marketing to develop positioning and messaging to ensure differentiation from competitors
- Monitor and evaluate product performance to ensure constant product iteration and improvements
What you'll need to bring:
- 8+ years of experience in digital product management or similar
- Strong analytical, prioritisation, and negotiating skills
- Usability and customer-focused design experience a plus
- Passionate about building great products and solving customer and business problems.
- Strong knowledge of Equity, Derivatives, Currency and Commodities markets
- Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence is desirable.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- A master's degree is preferred
- Experience writing SQL queries, and exposure to back-end and front-end programming languages, such as Java, HTML, CSS, and AngularJS, is an added advantage
