About The Role

Your mandate is simple: replace manual ops with AI-driven systems.

You’ll sit at the intersection of Product, Engineering, and Account Management, identifying high-effort workflows across onboarding, equity management, and compliance — and rebuilding them using automation, structured data, and AI-native workflows.

This is a zero-to-one, high-ownership role where you’ll design systems that scale operations without scaling headcount. From AI-assisted onboarding to automating complex equity workflows, you’ll help move EL from ops-heavy to AI-first.

What You’ll Do

Build AI-Native Product Operations

  • Design and deploy AI-first workflows across onboarding, cap table management, governance, and equity grants — reducing manual ops and increasing speed, accuracy, and scale.
  • Identify repeatable workflows and convert them into automated, model-assisted systems (LLMs, agents, and internal tools).


Automate Verticalized Services

  • Own the automation of high-touch services across equity lifecycle (onboarding, grants, compliance, reporting).
  • Break down complex, domain-heavy workflows into structured, programmable systems that can be scaled via AI.


Reimagine Onboarding with AI

  • Transform customer onboarding into a semi-automated, AI-assisted experience — from data ingestion and validation to platform setup.
  • Build systems that minimize manual intervention while improving accuracy and turnaround time.


Own Data + AI Infrastructure for Ops

  • Ensure high-quality, structured data pipelines that power both product experiences and AI workflows.
  • Work closely with Engineering to enable AI-readiness across internal systems (clean schemas, APIs, data flows).


Experiment with AI-First Approaches

  • Continuously test new AI tools, agents, and workflows to improve internal efficiency and customer experience.
  • Run rapid experiments on “AI replacing ops” vs “AI augmenting ops” across different workflows.


Be the Bridge Between Product, Engineering & AI Systems

  • Translate operational problems into product and AI opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to productionize internal tools and AI workflows.


Drive Insights with AI-Augmented Analytics

  • Leverage AI to analyze product usage, customer behavior, and operational bottlenecks.
  • Surface insights that directly influence product prioritization and automation opportunities.


Continuously Eliminate Manual Work

  • Ruthlessly identify repetitive tasks and replace them with automation or AI systems.
  • Move the team from “ops-heavy” → “systems-heavy” → “AI-driven”.

What We’re Looking For

AI-First, Systems Thinker

  • You instinctively look at manual workflows and think: “this should be automated.”
  • Curious and hands-on with AI tools (LLMs, agents, no-code/low-code automation) and excited to apply them to real workflows.


Strong Product + Ops Intuition

  • 4–6 years of experience in Product Operations, Product, Analytics, or similar roles in a SaaS or B2B environment.
  • Comfortable breaking down ambiguous problems and turning them into structured, scalable systems.


Data Fluent

  • Strong with data (Excel / SQL) able to work with structured datasets and derive insights.
  • Understand how clean data enables both product decisions and AI systems.


Builder Mindset

  • You enjoy building from scratch — workflows, tools, and systems — not just managing them.
  • Bias for action you ship fast, iterate quickly, and improve continuously.


High Ownership & Cross-Functional Ability

  • Comfortable working across Product, Engineering, and Customer Success.
  • Strong communication skills — can translate messy operational problems into clear solutions.


Bonus (Good to Have)

  • Experience with automation tools (Zapier, Retool, internal tooling, etc.)
  • Exposure to AI workflows, prompt design, or integrating APIs.
  • Understanding of equity, cap tables, or financial/compliance systems.
