Key Responsibilities :

1) Product Engineering Management

2) Handling SAP

4) Provide Technical Support to Supervisor's & Engineers

5) Interacting with OEM's, PMC, End users.

Indicative Tasks:

Competencies (all competencies required to carry out this key responsibility and indicative tasks)

1) Product Engineering Management

• Creation,Updation and Control of Material Masters, BOM, Drawings, Standards & Procedures

Autocad & Solidworks.

• Experience in Mechanical Seals / Centrifugal Pumps background.
• Releasing New Material specification/Procedures of special requirements.

2) Handling SAP

• Ensure material and BOM's are created in SAP systems for new design and monitor the backlog.
• Exposure to SAP/ERP Environment
• Responsible for creation of Material Masters and BOM's in SAP systems for special requirements

3) Provide Technical Support

• Technical Support on all special product engineering - Mechanical Seal requirements.
• Co-ordination/Communication with Joint Venture on technical support for the existing/new products.
• Technical support for Root cause analysis and elimination of Assembly & Service problems.
• Extend technical support to the Marketing, Manufacturing, Branches & Customers & Reduction of net provided inventory.
• Knowledge of ASME / API standrads related to Mechanical Seals & Pumps.
• Product training to internal/external customers at plant.
• Technical support to reduce the assembly rejections.
