ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a seasoned Product Development Engineer who sits at the intersection of product thinking and strong engineering execution. You will be the bridge between user needs and technical delivery — owning features end-to-end from ideation to production with minimal handholding.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own end-to-end product features — from requirement breakdown to production deployment.
• Collaborate closely with the AI/ML team to integrate intelligent capabilities into product workflows.
• Write clean, scalable, and well-tested code across the full stack (Node.js / Python backend + React frontend).
• Define and review technical architecture for new features and ensure alignment with product goals.
• Participate in product discovery: user research, prototype validation, and iterative development.
• Lead sprint planning, story refinement, and cross-functional delivery ceremonies.
• Mentor junior developers and enforce engineering best practices across the team.
• Proactively identify technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and propose remediation.
• Use AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude) to accelerate delivery.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• 6–8 years of hands-on software engineering experience in a product-first environment.
• Strong proficiency in React.js, Node.js, and RESTful / GraphQL API design.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of system design, database design (SQL & NoSQL), and microservices.
• Prior experience in an early-stage startup or MVP build phase is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to wear multiple hats — engineer, product thinker, and team lead.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

GOOD TO HAVE

• Experience integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini) into product features.
• Background in B2B SaaS product development.
• Exposure to product analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude, PostHog).
