Position description: Join our growing product experience team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Sojern’s Travel Marketing Platform. As a Product Designer, you will collaborate with talented teammates from around the world to deliver intuitive, data-driven solutions that empower travel marketers. This role is central to enhancing the user experience of our platforms, dashboards, and automated reporting tools, ensuring our products meet the needs of a diverse, global user base.

You’ll work directly with customers, conducting interviews and usability testing to gather feedback and uncover insights that inform your designs. You’ll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that leverage advanced data visualization, personalization, and AI-driven design principles. By collaborating closely with Product, Product Marketing, Client Success, and Engineering, you’ll bring innovative ideas to life while continuously iterating based on user needs.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Product, Product Marketing, Client Success, and Engineering to design user-centric features and workflows for Sojern’s internal and external platforms, dashboards, and reporting
• Design experiences specifically to improve user activation, retention, and expansion metrics, ensuring alignment with product goals and user needs
• Partner with Product and Commercial teams to design features that support pricing tiers, packaging strategies, and role-based access control for different customer segments or verticals
• Develop intuitive, engaging first-time user experiences and self-service onboarding flows to streamline adoption and drive product engagement
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using tools like Figma and Cursor, ensuring alignment with product requirements and user needs
• Conduct user research, including interviews, usability testing, and surveys, to gather insights that inform design decisions
• Create scalable, responsive designs optimized for complex data visualization and reporting interfaces
• Maintain and enhance Sojern’s product design system to ensure consistency across all platform elements
• Advocate for accessibility and inclusivity in all aspects of the design process, ensuring our products meet diverse user needs
• Collaborate with Engineers to ensure seamless implementation and adherence to design specifications
• Analyze usage metrics, user feedback, and industry trends to identify areas for improvement and propose solutions
• Present designs and findings to stakeholders and incorporate feedback iteratively
• Become an informed and vocal advocate of great design at Sojern, including assisting with occasional presentations to other teams about ongoing projects and initiatives
• Work self-sufficiently across multiple projects without sacrificing quality
  
  

Required Work Experience

• Years of experience: 3-5 years in product design

• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
• Highly detail-oriented and self-motivated to prioritize and manage workload and meet critical project milestones and deadlines
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions

Required Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of user research methodologies and usability testing
• Strong understanding of SaaS metrics (e.g., churn, retention, engagement) and how design decisions impact business outcomes
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices for product design
• Designing in-app messaging workflows, product tours to guide user engagement, and data-heavy interfaces with a focus on usability and visualization
