Job Description

Our Application Operations unit is looking for Product Delivery Managers (PDMs) to join our Customer Experience team.


We are specifically seeking subject-matter experts with strong airline business backgrounds, rather than technical profiles.


Your Responsibilities


  • Ensure smooth operation of assigned products and services in line with contractual agreements.
  • Own the end-to-end delivery and operational stability of the product.
  • Act as the primary contact for customers: manage regular communication, presentations, and customer meetings (on-site and remote).
  • Handle and coordinate customer inquiries, issues, complaints, and escalations.
  • Capture and analyze business requirements; support customers in drafting change requests where necessary.
  • Coordinate implementation of change and service requests across internal teams and service providers — including effort estimation, cost evaluation, and commercial communication.
  • Plan and manage the introduction, documentation, and release of changes.
  • Initiate and coordinate service improvement plans in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Support customer teams across the Lufthansa Systems organization.
  • Contribute to implementation projects, especially during the introduction of new services.


Your Profile


  • 4+ years of experience in IT operations and/or product delivery.
  • Strong airline business expertise with a clear understanding of Customer Experience-related processes (e.g. passenger services, disruption handling, ground operations, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with confidence in direct customer interaction.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written).
  • Willingness to travel internationally for temporary assignments.
