Job Description: Product / Business Analyst cum Project ManagerRole Overview

We are looking for a highly structured, execution-focused, and detail-oriented Product / Business Analyst cum Project Manager to support end-to-end coordination across business, product, operations, compliance, and technology teams.

At CareerJump, this role sits at the intersection of business analysis, project management, and product execution. You will be responsible for gathering and structuring requirements, running Agile ceremonies, coordinating sprint delivery, creating business and system diagrams, driving follow-ups, and ensuring alignment between product intent and technical execution.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fintech, banking, financial services, or other regulated technology environment, and should be able to bring clarity, structure, and momentum to cross-functional delivery.

Key ResponsibilitiesScrum and Delivery Management
  • Run and manage Agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
  • Track sprint progress, timelines, blockers, dependencies, risks, and action items to ensure smooth execution
  • Coordinate across engineering, QA, product, design, operations, compliance, and business stakeholders to drive delivery
  • Maintain project trackers, delivery dashboards, meeting notes, and status updates for ongoing initiatives
  • Ensure priorities are aligned and execution remains on track across multiple parallel workstreams
Business Analysis and Requirement Structuring
  • Gather, analyze, and document business, operational, and product requirements in a structured manner
  • Convert discussions and stakeholder inputs into clear BRDs, FRDs, PRDs, user stories, workflows, use cases, and acceptance criteria
  • Translate business requirements into implementation-ready functional specifications for technology teams
  • Identify process gaps, edge cases, risks, dependencies, and ambiguity before development begins
  • Support requirement walkthroughs and ensure stakeholder alignment on the intended solution
Diagramming and Documentation
  • Create and maintain clear visual documentation such as:
  • Business process flows
  • User journeys
  • Workflow diagrams
  • System architecture diagrams
  • Integration flow diagrams
  • Approval / maker-checker / role-permission flows
  • Operational process maps
  • Ensure documentation remains updated, organized, and usable for execution and future reference
Product and Technology Coordination
  • Assist the Product Manager in breaking down initiatives into actionable stories, tasks, and delivery plans
  • Support the tech team with requirement clarifications, business logic understanding, and documentation
  • Act as a bridge between business, product, and engineering teams
  • Help validate whether built features match expected business outcomes and documented logic
Quality, Governance, and Execution Support
  • Support QA and UAT by validating implemented flows against documented requirements
  • Proactively flag inconsistencies, missing cases, scope changes, and execution risks
  • Maintain process discipline, auditability, and delivery governance in regulated workflows
  • Manage and prioritize multiple assignments while maintaining delivery quality
Required Skills
  • Strong understanding of Agile / Scrum execution
  • Proven ability to independently run scrum ceremonies and sprint management
  • Strong business analysis, requirement gathering, and documentation capability
  • Ability to create structured business flows, workflow diagrams, and system architecture diagrams
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and execution discipline
  • Ability to convert ambiguity into structured plans and actionable deliverables
  • Strong ownership, follow-up, and coordination skills
Preferred Experience
  • 2–5 years in Business Analysis, Project Management, Product Operations, or Delivery roles
  • Experience in fintech, banking, financial services, payments, wealth-tech, or regulated environments
  • Exposure to Web3, blockchain, tokenization, or digital assets is a plus
  • Familiarity with workflows like onboarding, KYC/KYB, approvals, transactions, treasury, audit trails, and reporting
  • Awareness of trends in banking, data architecture, and data security
  • Experience in process improvements, analytics, tooling, documentation, or workflow transitions
  • Ability to guide junior team members and contribute to team execution maturity

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, or related field
  • Scrum, PMP, CBAP, or similar certifications are a plus
