About XSQUADS

XSQUADS is an Indian mobile game studio building ScarFall 2.0, a made-in-India mobile battle royale shooter. Our focus is gameplay quality, strong live operations, and scalable production for a large player base.

About the role

The Producer owns delivery for the entire studio: when things get built, who builds them, and whether they ship on time and clean. You turn the Studio Head's prioritised backlog into a real schedule across nine discipline teams, and you are the person who keeps the whole machine moving when three things break at once.

This role reports to the Studio Head. Scope boundary: product and feature decisions — what gets built and why — sit with the Studio Head; your authority is the schedule, the pipeline, the trade-offs, and the cut-or-delay call.

What you will own

  • The production plan: one prioritised schedule across all disciplines, on a steady sprint rhythm.
  • Task breakdown, estimates, and dependency ordering — so no team sits idle waiting on another.
  • Daily blocker clearing. Blockers do not survive overnight on your watch.
  • Cut-or-delay decisions when a sprint overloads, made openly and recorded — never resolved through silent overtime.
  • Release readiness: the checklist, QA sign-off coordination, rollback plan, and staged rollout.
  • Build delivery and release notes to our publishing partner.
  • The weekly production one-pager: what shipped, what slipped and why, risks, and decisions needed.
  • On-time delivery percentage, sprint completion percentage, blocker clear time, and build stability at handoff.

Must-haves

  • 5+ years in game production, with at least 2 years running delivery for a live-service mobile title on a fixed update cadence.
  • Has coordinated 40+ people across multiple disciplines simultaneously — engineering, art, design, and QA in the same plan.
  • Proven under fire: can describe a release that was going wrong two weeks out, and exactly what they cut, moved, or renegotiated to land it.
  • Ruthless prioritisation: comfortable telling a senior stakeholder no, with a clear reason and an alternative, the same day.
  • Fluent with production tooling and sprint mechanics; able to keep a tracker honest, not decorative.
  • Calm, structured communication when multiple things are on fire at once — this will be the busiest seat in the studio.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience shipping through an external publisher review process.
  • Battle royale, shooter, or other synchronous-multiplayer production experience.
  • Experience introducing production process to a team that previously ran without one.

How we work

On-site in Surat, Gujarat. Meetings run in a natural mix of Gujarati, Hindi, and English; all documents and tracking are written in English. We run a single clear chain of command, short weekly reviews, and honest weekly reporting of real numbers against targets.

How to apply
