Core Job Summary
The Procurement Team at Touchstone is responsible for executing and overseeing all sourcing and purchasing activities within the Civil and Interior (C&I) domain. The team ensures the timely, cost-effective, and high-quality procurement of materials, equipment, and services necessary for the successful delivery of turnkey corporate office, retail, and infrastructure projects. Team members collaborate closely with project managers, site engineers, and external vendors to align supply chain operations with strict project timelines and budget limitations.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Project Coordination & Execution (All Levels) Coordinate with project and site teams to identify required materials, services, and equipment.
- Gather competitive quotes from vendors, conduct comparative technical and commercial analyses, and select optimal options.
- Issue formal purchase orders (POs) and stringently follow up to guarantee timely on-site delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of all purchases and site deliveries, keeping project teams regularly updated.
- Financial & Cost Management (All Levels) Manage project procurement finances and prepare routine financial reports.
- Adhere strictly to project budgets, actively identify cost-saving initiatives, and ensure materials match technical specifications.
- Strategic Management & Leadership (Manager Level Only) Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives and master project timelines.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and vendors while fostering long-term strategic relationships.
- Negotiate, draft, and manage vendor contracts to protect company interests and adhere to regulatory standards.
- Lead, mentor, and foster a collaborative, performance-driven environment for the internal procurement team.
- Mitigate supply chain risks by engineering contingency plans to prevent site disruptions or delays.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Direct domain exposure handling Civil and Interior materials and infrastructure project sourcing.
- Strong understanding of Civil and Interior engineering principles, materials, and labor resource processes.
- Sharp commercial negotiation skills with an analytical, data-driven mindset for cost optimization.
- Strong communication, legal contract management, and interpersonal skills to manage cross-functional stakeholder relationships.
- Familiarity with relevant regulatory, compliance, and legal frameworks governing construction/interior projects.
