Build the sourcing and procurement foundation for a global industrial technology leader expanding its manufacturing footprint in India — ideal for procurement professionals who want ownership, strategic influence, and direct impact on large-scale manufacturing operations.

PULS Group is a global leader in DIN rail power supplies, field power supplies, and industrial power technology. As PULS expands its India operations, we are looking for a Strategic Sourcing Manager to establish and scale sourcing, supplier development, procurement excellence, and localization initiatives that support both current EMS-driven production and future in-house manufacturing operations.

This is a high-impact opportunity to become the first sourcing-function hire in India and shape the supplier ecosystem, procurement processes, and sourcing strategy for a globally recognized industrial technology organization.

What You'll Do

• Lead the establishment and execution of end-to-end sourcing and procurement processes for PULS India.
• Partner closely with Global Commodity Managers to align sourcing strategies with business objectives, market conditions, technology trends, and operational requirements.
• Identify, evaluate, onboard, qualify, audit, and manage suppliers across direct and indirect procurement categories.
• Develop sourcing strategies for electronics components, PCBs, transformers, assemblies, sheet metal, stamping, injection molding, and manufacturing services.
• Lead supplier negotiations, contract management, pricing discussions, and long-term supply agreements.
• Drive localization initiatives to improve supply chain resilience, reduce costs, and support manufacturing scalability.
• Manage supplier performance through quality, cost, delivery, and compliance metrics.
• Conduct cost analysis, market benchmarking, and annual savings initiatives.
• Support inventory optimization, demand planning, and supply continuity programs.
• Build strong partnerships with suppliers, manufacturing teams, engineering teams, quality teams, and global stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, sourcing standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to ERP implementation, procurement process improvements, and supplier management best practices.

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or vendor management experience within manufacturing environments.
• Strong experience in electronics manufacturing, OEM, EMS, industrial automation, electrical manufacturing, or related industries.
• Deep understanding of active and passive electronic components, transformers, assemblies, PCBs, sheet metal, stamping, injection molding, and supplier ecosystems.
• Proven experience in strategic sourcing, vendor development, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
• Experience managing global and local supplier networks across complex manufacturing supply chains.
• Strong knowledge of commodity management, supplier qualification, procurement analytics, and cost optimization strategies.
• Hands-on experience with FTWZ operations, ERP systems, localization programs, and global sourcing initiatives.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and international teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
