Procurement Engineer (US Procurement)

For AORBIS Inc., we are looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Procurement Engineer with strong experience across the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, including purchasing, supplier management, contracts, and logistics. USA Experience is must.

Job Location:

• Ahmedabad (Siddhivinayak Towers, Makarba)

Shift Timings:

• 6PM to 3AM-Monday to Friday
• Work from office

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the complete procurement cycle: sourcing, vendor development, negotiation, purchasing, contracts, and logistics.
• Identify and develop reliable suppliers, especially in USA and China. USA Experience is must.
• Handle price negotiations, cost comparisons, and vendor evaluation.
• Coordinate with internal engineering/design teams to understand material requirements from drawings and specifications.
• Review architectural/engineering drawings to determine procurement needs.
• Manage documentation related to purchase orders, contracts, and shipments.
• Ensure timely delivery, quality compliance, and cost optimization.
• Coordinate with logistics partners for international shipments and customs processes.
• Travel, when required, particularly to China for supplier meetings and procurement activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering would be preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural/engineering drawings.
• Proven experience in end-to-end procurement and vendor negotiations.
• Hands-on experience dealing with suppliers in USA and China and familiarity with the Chinese purchasing ecosystem.
• Understanding of US procurement/export regulations and processes.
• Willingness to travel internationally for business needs.
