Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Procurement Engineer at our Kozhikode location. The Procurement Engineer will be responsible for evaluating suppliers, preparing and managing purchase orders, issuing and analyzing Requests for Quotation (RFQs), and ensuring cost-effective supplier contracts. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, maintaining supplier relationships, and applying analytical skills to optimize procurement processes.

Qualifications

• Supplier Evaluation and Request for Quotation (RFQ) expertise
• Proficiency in creating and managing Purchase Orders
• Strong Analytical Skills for data interpretation and decision-making
• Excellent Communication skills for effective collaboration and supplier management
• Relevant experience in procurement processes and supply chain management
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Knowledge of switchgear systems is a plus
• Ability to work effectively in a team and meet deadlines
