Job Description

Process Simulation Software Engineer

  • Seeking a highly skilled Process Simulation Software with strong expertise in software engineering and numerical simulation.
  • The ideal candidate holds bachelor/master’s degree and possesses both deep technical proficiency and the ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary, international teams.
  • Experience as super user in ASPEN, Unisim or any other commercial process simulator.
  • Design, develop, and optimize process simulation software components.
  • Collaborate with domain experts across scientific and engineering disciplines.
  • Implement advanced software architectures, algorithms, and interface designs.
  • Manage and contribute to complex IT and software development projects.
  • Ensure high-quality documentation, performance tuning, and code maintenance.
  • Required qualifications include bachelor/master’s in computer science, computational science & engineering, scientific computing, applied numerical mathematics, physics, thermodynamics, chemistry, or chemical/process engineering.
  • Solid foundation in software design concepts, including object-oriented design, operator overloading, design patterns, functional programming, client–server architectures, communication protocols, Interface design.
  • Proven programming and scripting expertise in: C, C++, C#, Python, FORTRAN, Julia, Rust, VB.NET, C#.NET, PowerShell and relevant libraries.
