Job Description

We are seeking a Principle Full Stack Developer to define and drive the technical evolution of our platform, scaling it to support the next generation of our SaaS products. This is a hands-on leadership role at the intersection of architecture, system design, cloud infrastructure, and engineering leadership — focused more on enabling and guiding high-performing teams than day-to-day feature delivery.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a senior technology leader to shape long-term technical vision, scale engineering operations, and influence product innovation at an organizational level.

You need to be fully available from 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM IST for this role. The client may use productivity and monitoring tools to ensure adherence to the agreed work schedule and engagement expectations.

What You'll Do

Define and own the overall technical architecture — distributed systems, service boundaries, integration patterns, and data flows for scalability, performance, and resilience.

Lead architecture and design reviews aligned with long-term business and platform strategy.

Mentor and guide senior engineers in backend services, APIs, infrastructure, and frontend architecture best practices.

Drive scalability strategy — multi-region deployments, zero-downtime releases, resilience engineering, and disaster recovery.

Shape data strategy — database selection, schema design, caching (Redis, CDN, edge compute), and event-driven architectures.

Ensure frontend excellence through scalable React/Next.js architecture and modern state management patterns.

Advance DevOps maturity — AWS automation, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and reliability engineering.

Establish engineering standards — performance-first, secure-by-default, and design-for-failure principles.

Build and scale distributed engineering teams, define processes, and foster a culture of technical excellence and ownership.

What We’re Looking For

10- 15 years of experience in software engineering with strong leadership exposure.

Proven track record in architecting and scaling cloud-native, event-driven SaaS applications.

Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, containers, serverless architectures, and microservices.

Experience building and scaling distributed engineering teams.

Strong product mindset — able to lead technical discovery, manage tech debt, and deliver high-impact 0→1 products.

Active hands-on contributor across backend (Node.js/TypeScript, Rails) and frontend (React/Next.js/React Native).

Strong DevOps & analytics understanding — infrastructure scaling, CDP, and data-driven product optimization.

Expertise in performance optimization — query tuning, caching strategies, latency reduction.

Experience integrating AI into developer workflows and customer-facing products.

Current & Evolving Tech Stack

Backend: Node.js/TypeScript (evolving), Python, ServiceNow

Frontend: Next.js, React, React Native

Cloud & Infrastructure: AWS (ECS, S3, CloudWatch), Docker, GitHub Actions

Databases: PostgreSQL, Redis

Other: REST APIs, OpenAPI, Feature Flags, Advanced Monitoring (Sentry)

You will have the freedom to evaluate and evolve the technology stack, introduce modern frameworks and patterns, and establish architectural standards that scale with business growth.
