Job Title: Principal Engineer ? .NET & Cloud Architecture Experience: 12?18 Years Location: Bengaluru (Work From Office) Job Summary We are seeking a highly accomplished Principal Engineer with deep expertise in .NET technologies, cloud-native architecture, and modern web development to drive the design and development of highly scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications. This role demands strong technical leadership, hands-on architecture ownership, and the ability to mentor engineering teams while shaping long-term technology strategy. Key Responsibilities Lead the architecture, design, and development of large-scale, high-performance applications using C#/.NET Core and modern cloud platforms . Drive high-level and low-level system design , including microservices-based architectures, event-driven systems, and distributed computing. Provide hands-on leadership in building scalable backend services , RESTful APIs, and integrations with enterprise systems. Define and enforce best practices, coding standards, security guidelines, and performance benchmarks . Lead cloud architecture and deployment strategies using modern DevOps pipelines, CI/CD, and container-based platforms. Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, and cross-functional teams to deliver business-critical solutions. Mentor senior engineers and development teams, support code reviews, and guide technical decision-making. Take ownership of production stability, performance optimization, reliability, and security compliance . Evaluate new tools, frameworks, and technologies to continuously improve engineering excellence. Technical Skills & Expertise Backend Development: Strong hands-on experience in C# .NET / .NET Core or other object-oriented languages (e.g., Java). Deep understanding of object-oriented design, SOLID principles, and design patterns . Strong expertise in Microservices architecture, RESTful APIs , and service-oriented architecture. Excellent knowledge of RDBMS such as SQL Server including performance tuning and query optimization. Cloud & Architecture: Proven experience in cloud architecture , scalable system design, and distributed application development. Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) , containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud-native patterns. Experience with high-availability, fault-tolerant, and secure system designs. Frontend Technologies: Strong expertise in JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks such as Angular, React, Next.js, or jQuery . Hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS3 , and CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS . Experience in consuming and building REST-based web services .
