Role Overview

Seeking a highly experienced Principal Architect to lead the strategic evolution of the enterprise Data & Analytics ecosystem. The ideal candidate will drive architecture, innovation, cloud optimization, and enterprise integrations across Azure, Databricks, and SAP S/4HANA environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and lead the Azure/Databricks platform roadmap and architecture strategy.
• Architect enterprise integration solutions between SAP S/4HANA and Azure/Databricks platforms.
• Design scalable integration frameworks using SAP SLT, CDS Views, APIs, ODP, and CDC patterns.
• Lead POCs and innovation initiatives involving technologies like SODA, Astronomer, and AI-driven platforms.
• Solve complex enterprise challenges, including multi-tenant architecture, data residency, workspace segmentation, and scalability.
• Drive FinOps initiatives to optimize Databricks and Azure cloud consumption.
• Design enterprise data pipelines using Unity Catalog, Delta Live Tables, and modern Lakehouse architecture.

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in Data Architecture with 5+ years in Principal/Lead Architect roles.
• Strong expertise in Azure Data Stack and Databricks (Unity Catalog, Delta Live Tables).
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA integration and enterprise data architecture.
• Strong knowledge of CDC, API integrations, SAP extraction methodologies, and large-scale enterprise systems.
• Proven experience leading enterprise POCs and production implementations.
• Strong cloud cost optimization and FinOps experience.
