Now I need the architect who'll own what we've built and take it to KMP.

I'm Karthik, founder of Zobaze. We build MIS / Store ERP apps that small businesses across the world use to run their stores every day. The Android app IS the product for most of our 1M+ users. The foundation is built. You'd be our first architecture hire, working with 2 developers and directly with me. Now I need someone to own it end-to-end and scale it.

We're an AI-first team. We're an AI-first team. Not in theory, in practice. We run internal AI agents that automate our workflows. Your job isn't to write code all day. It's to plan the architecture, design specs clear enough that AI agents can execute them, validate the output, and ship. We have an ambitious product roadmap and we're building it with AI. You need to learn to build plans which AI agents can execute. I'll give direction. You build your own agents and your own workflow.

What you'll actually do:

→ Own the entire Android architecture and lead the KMP migration

→ Design systems and break them into specs that AI can execute

→ Validate what AI gets wrong, mentor a small team, and ship outcomes not commits

This isn't a "senior developer with a fancy title" role. You'll design systems that AI can build. You'll validate what AI gets wrong: lifecycle bugs, thread safety, and memory leaks. You'll ship outcomes, not commits.

The hard problems: offline-first POS that syncs across devices, performance on low-end Android hardware across the world, and migrating a production app serving 1M+ stores to KMP without breaking anything.

If you have 6-10 years in Android, deep experience with Kotlin, Clean Architecture, Jetpack Compose, and you've modularized a monolith, led a legacy migration, or designed an SDK that shipped through other teams' hands, and you have startup DNA where you built in ambiguity, not just followed specs, we should talk.
