Job Description We're looking for a talented Cloud Oracle DBA. We're after curious mind, good interpersonal skills, and excellent technical skills in the area of Cloud DBA admin, a good set of hardware (ZDLRA/ZFS) skills is an added advantage. We're after someone who can troubleshoot, apply changes, fix Exa Cloud@customer related problems, think at scale. You should also think at scale, how to manage Exadata cloud@customer connected to hundreds of DBs, mission critical systems. This is a hand-on job.Work with Oracle*s world class technology to develop, implement, and support Oracle*s global infrastructure. May have project lead role. BS or equivalent experience in programming on enterprise or department servers or systems. RAC, ASM, Data Guard, Golden gate are mandatory skills. It is 24/7 operations. Mandatory skillset along with Oracle DBA are MSSQL and Postgress. Responsibilities As an Advisory Systems Engineer, you are expected to be an expert member of the problem-solving/avoidance team and be highly skilled in solving extremely complex (often previously unknown), critical customer issues. Performing the assigned duties with a high level of autonomy and reporting to management on customer status and technical matters on a regular basis, you will be expected to work with very limited guidance from management. Further, the Advisory Systems Engineer is sought by customers and Oracle employees to provide expert technical advice.
