Pressure Equipment Design Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Design Engineer / CAD Design Engineer who can bridge engineering design + detailed drafting + manufacturing execution.

This role involves end-to-end involvement — from interpreting client requirements to delivering code-compliant designs and production-ready drawings.

• Perform mechanical design of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and static equipment as per ASME Section VIII Div.1, TEMA, and applicable standards
• Use tools like PV Elite / Compress for design validation and calculations
• Ensure compliance with ASME, API, EN, PED, and Good Engineering Practices
• Review and validate design inputs, specifications, and client requirements

• Prepare 2D/3D drawings (GAD & detailed fabrication drawings) using AutoCAD / SolidWorks
• Develop:
• 
  
• Nozzle schedules
• Weld plans
• Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Detailed manufacturing drawings
• Ensure drawings are production-ready and code-compliant

• Work closely with Production, QC, and Planning teams for execution alignment
• Participate in design reviews, project meetings, and client discussions
• Revise drawings/designs based on feedback and site/manufacturing constraints

• Ensure adherence to ISO, ASME U-Stamp, AD 2000 HP0, PED requirements
• Maintain proper documentation, traceability, and revision control
• Support inspection planning, audits, and compliance reviews

• Strong knowledge of:
• ASME BPVC Section VIII Div.1, TEMA (mandatory)
• API, IS standards

• Hands-on experience with:
• Intergraph PV Elite / Codeware Compress (mandatory)
• AutoCAD LT or similar 2D drafting software (mandatory)
• SolidWork or similar 3D drafting software (preferred)

• Understanding of:
• GD&T (preferred)
• EN 13445, PED, AD 2000 (preferred)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
• Strong communication skills (technical + client-facing)

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory)
• 3–6 years of experience in ASME pressure vessel / static equipment design
• Experience in heavy engineering / process equipment manufacturing industry
• Exposure to high alloy materials (SS, Duplex, Hastelloy, etc.) is a strong plus
• Certifications in AutoCAD / SolidWorks (CSWP/CSWE) are preferred
