Job Description: Solution Engineer ? Designation: Solution Engineer ? Pre-Sales (CPaaS/SaaS) As a Solution Engineer, you will play a strategic role in driving our pre-sales engagement, acting as both a technical advisor and solution architect for enterprise clients. You will partner closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to design, validate, and present scalable CPaaS/SaaS solutions that align with client objectives and accelerate revenue growth. You will also mentor junior presales engineers, ensuring consistent delivery of technical excellence across regions. Key Responsibilities Solution Design & Technical Consulting - Engage with enterprise clients to understand business objectives, technical requirements, and integration needs. - Design and present scalable CPaaS/SaaS solutions including WhatsApp Business API, RCS, SMS, Voice, Email, Chatbots, AI, and Live Agent solutions. - Build and deliver POCs, demos, and workshops to validate solutions with customers. - Advise clients on best practices for compliance, data security, and regulatory requirements across regions. Client & Sales Support - Collaborate with Sales teams to craft customer-centric proposals and RFP/RFI responses. - Position Route Mobile?s CPaaS platform with clear business value and ROI for customers. - Partner with customers? IT and Product teams during the solution evaluation, integration, and UAT process. - Support bid defense presentations and executive-level discussions with stakeholders. Product & Strategy Alignment - Collaborate with Product teams to provide market and client feedback to influence roadmap priorities. - Stay updated on new releases, features, and launches to proactively position them with clients. - Identify new use cases and solution opportunities to strengthen Route Mobile?s market positioning. - Participate in GTM planning and ensure presales readiness ahead of product launches. Leadership & Mentorship - Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for CPaaS/SaaS solutions across regions. - Mentor and coach junior presales engineers, setting standards for best practices in solution design. - Drive knowledge-sharing sessions and support internal enablement programs. Skills & Qualifications Must-Have - 3-5 years of experience in Pre-Sales / Solution Engineering / Solution Architecture roles. - Strong technical expertise in CPaaS/SaaS platforms (Messaging APIs, WhatsApp, RCS, Voice, Email, Conversational AI). - Hands-on experience with API design and integration (REST, JSON/XML, Postman, Webhooks). - Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc), microservices, and SaaS architectures. - Strong ability to translate technical solutions into clear business outcomes and ROI. - Excellent communication, presentation, and CXO-level stakeholder management skills. Good-to-Have - Exposure to CRM/ERP integrations (Salesforce, Moengage, webengage, Clevertap, etc.). - Understanding of data security, compliance, and certifications (ISO, GDPR, Etc). - Experience with AI-powered chatbot platforms (Dialogflow, Rasa, Amazon Lex, etc.). - Previous experience in Telecom, SaaS, or CPaaS enterprise environments.
