Presales Engineer - Network, SDWAN

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated Presales Engineer professional who will support the sales team by designing and presenting network and security solutions to customers. The candidate will translate business requirements into technical solution architecture and assist in preparing proposals, solution designs, and proof-of-concept demonstrations. This role requires hands-on experience in IP networking, SD-WAN technologies, and enterprise security solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand customer business and technical requirements and translate them into solution architecture.
• Support RFP / RFI / RFQ responses by preparing technical proposals and solution documents.
• Create High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) for networking and SD-WAN solutions.
• Perform Bill of Material (BOM) sizing and assist in platform selection based on customer requirements.
• Define scalability, migration, and deployment strategies for proposed solutions.
• Design, deploy, and manage Proof of Concept (POC) environments for customers.
• Troubleshoot technical issues during POC and provide end-to-end resolution.
• Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to customers and internal teams.
• Conduct risk and gap analysis during solution design and implementation stages.
• Work closely with sales, delivery, and technical teams to ensure successful solution deployment.

Required Skills & Technical Expertise:

• Strong hands-on knowledge of IP Networking (MPLS, OSPF, ISIS, BGP).
• Experience with SD-WAN / SSE technologies such as Versa, Fortinet, Arista, or Cato Networks.
• Good understanding of IP security technologies including Firewalls, DDoS protection, and network security solutions.
• Experience in preparing solution documentation and architecture diagrams.
• Ability to understand customer challenges and propose scalable technical solutions.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or Telecommunications.
• Networking certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
• Experience working in Presales, Network Architecture, or Solution Engineering roles.
