What You’ll Do

As a Product Quality Engineer II, you will play a key role in ensuring high product quality across Phenom’s platforms. You will own quality for key product areas, collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams, and contribute to building scalable automation solutions that support rapid and reliable releases.

• Own end-to-end quality for assigned product modules
• Translate product and technical requirements into effective test strategies and test cases
• Execute functional, regression, integration, UI, and API testing across releases
• Partner with developers early in the development cycle to identify risks and prevent defects
• Build, enhance, and maintain automated test suites using Java with Selenium and Python with Playwright
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery
• Track, prioritize, and drive defects to resolution using Jira
• Perform root cause analysis and support issue resolution across environments
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and release readiness reviews
• Mentor junior quality engineers and promote best practices across the team
• Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and quality metrics
  
  

What You Bring

• 5–8 years of experience in software quality engineering or testing
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, SDLC, and STLC
• Solid experience in manual and automation testing for web-based applications
• Strong hands-on expertise with Java + Selenium automation
• Experience with Python automation frameworks, preferably Playwright
• Proficiency in API testing using tools such as Postman or Swagger
• Working knowledge of SQL for backend data validation
• Experience using Jira or similar tools for defect tracking
• Good understanding of UI testing, browser compatibility, and debugging techniques
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git)
• Strong problem-solving skills with clear communication abilities

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Experience working in SaaS or enterprise product environments
• Knowledge of performance or security testing fundamentals
