Power BI Developer

Purpose of the position

Hyfun Foods is looking for a Power BI Developer with a proven track record. He will play a pivotal role in leveraging data analytics to drive informed decision-making and improve the efficiency of IT operations. He/ She will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing Power BI reports and dashboards that provide critical insights into manufacturing processes, including transactions.

Roles and Responsibility

• Collaborate with various department heads to ensure seamless integration of data from various sources, including SAP systems, databases, and external data providers.
• Utilize deep understanding of existing systems to translate business requirements into actionable data visualization solutions, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
• Continuously enhance the performance and efficiency of Power BI reports, optimizing data models and queries to provide real-time, high-quality insights to end-users.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of Power BI solutions, data models, data query and data transformation processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and future enhancements.
• Publishing, sharing, and collaborating on Power BI content.
• Create interactive and dynamic dashboards by dragging and dropping visual elements onto the canvas.

Requisite skills:

1. Strong knowledge of Power BI, DAX, and Power Query
2. SQL and database querying skills
3. Data modeling and data warehousing concepts
4. ETL processes and data integration experience
5. Dashboard and report development with data visualization best practices
6. Experience in performance optimization and troubleshooting
7. Understanding of data governance and security concepts
