Job Title: Portfolio Manager – Unlisted Investments (AIF Category II)

Location: Mumbai

Reporting To: Fund Manager

About the Role:

We are hiring a Portfolio Manager to oversee and manage existing investments within the unlisted investments portfolio. The role sits within the VC investment platform and focuses on monitoring, evaluating, and driving value from deployed capital across portfolio companies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage performance of existing investments in unlisted companies (AIF Category II portfolio)
• Track financial, operational, and strategic developments across portfolio companies
• Engage with portfolio company management teams to assess performance and identify value creation opportunities
• Prepare periodic portfolio review reports, updates, and investment tracking dashboards
• Support the Fund Manager in portfolio strategy, asset allocation, and exit planning
• Conduct follow-on analysis for additional investments in existing portfolio companies
• Coordinate with internal teams (investment, legal, compliance) for portfolio-related matters
• Track industry trends, market movements, and benchmark portfolio performance

Candidate Profile:

• 5+ years of experience in Portfolio Management / VC / PE / Alternate Investments
• Strong understanding of unlisted investments, venture capital, and AIF structures (Category II preferred)
• Experience in monitoring and managing post-investment portfolios
• Strong financial analysis, valuation, and reporting skills
• Ability to interact with founders and senior stakeholders

Preferred Background:

• Experience with Venture Capital / Alternate Investment Funds
• Exposure to startup ecosystem and growth-stage companies
• Strong analytical and communication skills
