Job title: Portfolio Analyst - LAP Credit
Location: Mumbai & Gurugram

Role Details
The incumbent is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and managing the performance of the retail assets. The role focuses on portfolio performance tracking, delinquency control, and supporting business decisions through data-driven insights. The incumbent will further be responsible for overseeing and ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements governing the bank’s retail asset products. The role will act as a critical interface between Business, Risk, Credit, Legal, and Regulatory teams to ensure full compliance with RBI regulations, internal governance standards, and audit requirements. The role will also manage compliance testing, and regulatory issue closure.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio monitoring
- Track and analyze portfolio performance across key parameters such as outstanding, delinquency (DPD buckets), Flow, NPA levels, and trends
- Prepare regular MIS dashboards (daily/weekly/monthly) for senior management and stakeholders
Internal Governance Management
- Track and monitor periodic review and renewal of policies, product programs, and SOPs as per internal governance timelines.
- Proactively coordinate with credit, product, business units and support functions to ensure timely completion of reviews
- Design and maintain an effective tracking mechanism/dashboard for policy and document renewals.
Regulatory & Internal Compliance
- Ensure that policy, product program documents, SOPs are compliant with all applicable RBI regulations, circulars, notifications, and guidelines related to retail loan products including credit cards and personal loans.
- Interpret regulatory requirements and ensure timely incorporation into policies, product programs, SOPs, and operational processes.
- Maintain an up-to-date regulatory repository covering all applicable guidelines for retail asset products.
Regulatory Reporting & RBI Interface
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of all periodic and ad-hoc reports to RBI in prescribed formats.
- Collate data in coherent format as per requirement of regulator in form of credit indent, RBI audits and any other information requirements.
- Track, monitor, and ensure timely closure of RBI RAR/RMP observations and regulatory action points.
Management & Committee Reporting
- Ensure that various management review reports for Risk Management Committee, Credit Committee, and for Senior Management in the form of dashboards, reports, or newsletters are submitted in time bound manner
Compliance Testing & Monitoring
- Conduct periodic compliance testing of retail loan products to assess adherence to regulatory and internal requirements.
- Identify gaps, recommend corrective actions, and track closure in coordination with relevant teams.
Educational Requirement - CA / MBA (Finance, Risk Management, or equivalent)
Work Experience - Essential requirement: Minimum 5+ years of experience in policy formulation/ credit underwriting/ compliance/ risk management, or control functions within retail assets in a bank or NBFC.
