Job Title: PMS Specialist

Department: Human Resources (HR) – Performance Management / Talent Management

Role Focus / Core Purpose:

  • Drive a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Link employee performance to business results using structured systems such as:
    • KRA’s / KPI’s
    • Balanced Score Cards
    • OKRs
    • Competency frameworks
    • Job cards
    • Appraisal systems

Key Responsibilities:

A. System Design & Development:

  • Design, implement, and maintain digitized Performance Management Systems (PMS) for efficiency.

B. Goal Setting & Alignment:

  • Cascade organizational objectives into division, department, team, and individual KRAs/KPAs.
  • Ensure goals are SMART, measurable, and aligned to business priorities.

C. Performance Monitoring:

  • Track employee performance continuously against KPIs, KRAs, and OKRs.
  • Provide management dashboards and insights on performance trends.

D. Review & Appraisal Process:

  • Conduct performance reviews and appraisals as per defined cycles.
  • Implement structured feedback mechanisms for employees.

E. Employee Development & Engagement:

  • Identify skill gaps and recommend training & development plans.
  • Promote employee engagement initiatives linked to performance improvement.

F. Continuous Improvement:

  • Regularly update and optimize PMS frameworks based on feedback and business needs.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies and contribute to HR digital transformation.

Key Deliverables / Outputs:

  • Performance management policy & framework
  • Digital PMS platform implementation and reporting
  • Regular dashboards for management showing performance trends and insights

Skills & Competencies Required:

  • Strong knowledge of Performance Management Systems (PMS)
  • Experience with KRAs, KPIs, Balanced Score Cards, OKRs
  • Stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination
  • Analytical skills for reporting, dashboards, and performance insights
  • Employee engagement & development focus
  • Communication & facilitation skills for workshops and training
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement in HR processes

Salary:

  • As per industry standards and experience
  • Typically for 6–8 years in PMS Specialist / HR Tech role in Hyderabad: ₹10–15 LPA (approx.)
