Job Overview: Job Title: Oracle PL/SQL Developer We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing PL/SQL code and database solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient data management and ensure the performance, scalability, and security of database systems. The role involves working closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality, reliable solutions for complex business problems. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL code for complex data-driven applications. Write efficient, optimized, and reusable PL/SQL code, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages. Collaborate with database administrators and other developers to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security of the database. Create and maintain database objects such as tables, views, indexes, and sequences. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize database queries and PL/SQL code to improve performance. Develop and maintain SQL queries and complex reporting queries as per business requirements. Perform data migration, integration, and transformation tasks using PL/SQL. Assist in the design and maintenance of ETL processes. Ensure adherence to coding standards and project timelines. Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues related to the database. Maintain documentation for database designs, configurations, and procedures. Stay up to date with the latest Oracle database technologies and best practices. Required Skills And Qualifications: Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience (4- 6 years) as an Oracle PL/SQL Developer. Strong proficiency in PL/SQL, SQL, and Oracle database development. Experience in writing complex stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages in PL/SQL. Strong knowledge of relational database management systems (RDBMS), specifically Oracle. Experience with Oracle database performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing. Solid understanding of database design, normalization, and data modeling concepts. Familiarity with Oracle SQL*Plus, TOAD, or other Oracle development tools. Knowledge of data migration and integration techniques. Understanding of database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Skills And Qualifications: Experience with Oracle APEX, Oracle Forms, and Reports. Knowledge of Oracle 12c/19c features and advanced PL/SQL functionalities. Experience with other Oracle technologies, such as Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Experience with version control tools like Git. Familiarity with cloud technologies (e.g., Oracle Cloud, AWS).
