Job Title Platform Engineering Engineer 3 Summary of the Role You?ll help ensure the availability, performance, and security of Amadeus? enterprise database systems. You?ll work with Oracle technologies to support applications that power global travel experiences. Collaborating with Development, Product, and Architecture teams, you?ll contribute to delivering reliable, high-quality solutions. In This Role You?ll Plan, document, install, and configure database servers with a clear focus on availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery across multiple sites. Create and maintain automated backup solutions, including regular validation of restore processes. Build and support monitoring tools for hundreds of databases, including multi-terabyte platforms across various environments. Support database environments throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), and contribute to the development of standards, procedures, and policies. Collaborate with operational teams to troubleshoot issues, provide performance tuning support, and ensure continuous improvement of database services. About The Ideal Candidate Basic Qualifications and Skills Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications And Skills At least 8 years of experience with Oracle technologies (e.g., Oracle 12c/19c, GoldenGate, Exadata) in a resilient enterprise environment. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, and experience with MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server (2017?2022), Postgres, or other database technologies. Certification in one or more database platforms is preferred. Proficiency in scripting languages and database tuning tools, with the ability to troubleshoot performance issues. Understanding of hardware, operating systems (e.g., Red Hat Enterprise Linux), storage technologies, and capacity management principles. What We Can Offer You ?? A meaningful mission and purpose ?
