Key Responsibilities
- Direct all activities related to operations and production in accordance with Global Supply Chain s business plan and the strategic goals of the Company and business units.
- Set strategic goals and vision for the functional unit, as well as short- and long-term production goals.
- Interface with third party Labour provider to ensure the right number of contract Labour are provided at all time and ensure they meet the set standard
- Collaborates with functional regional managers on the determination of materials, space, equipment and personnel needs as well as the development and implementation of processes, procedures, assignment and execution of functional responsibilities, and determination of budget and costs constraints
- Evaluates performance against production goals and adjusts allocations of resources (e.g., personnel, equipment, materials) as needed to optimize quality and amount of equipment, machinery and components produced, market share of customers, quality of services provided, and cost-efficiency of operations.
- Ensure input and packing materials availability for uninterrupted plant operation.
- Direct and manage the overall production plan for the operation, including supervising the day-to-day operations that come with implementation.
- Lead Lean Improvement projects, identify opportunities for improvement, and Initiate and actively participate in engineering projects and new product launches.
- Ensure staff compliance to safety standards and ensure the safety of equipment at all times
- Manage direct reports, assigns work to staff, provide coaching and training, set goals, is accountable for performance evaluation, plans staff development, and make and approve people management decisions either alone or in collaboration with management and HR
- Develop and implement processes to define operating standards and achieves compliance.
- Carry out all other duties as may be assigned by the business leadership.
